Powerpop fans—get ready! Stacy! the Amsterdam power-pop crew just dropped their debut 7” EP, Classroom Blitz!!, and it’s a total banger. Just released through Sonic Rendezvous, it’s out now on Spotify, Apple Music, and all the usual spots. This four-piece is serving up a killer mix of Raspberries-style hooks, The Cars’ slick vibes, and Cheap Trick’s raw energy, with a dash of NRBQ’s quirky rock & roll thrown in for good measure.

Stacy! has been tearing it up live across the Netherlands, playing with local legends and big-name acts, delivering shows that hit like a sugar-fueled lightning bolt. Their EP captures that same wild energy—three tracks packed with catchy choruses, crunchy guitars, and that classic pop spark that feels both retro and fresh.

"We didn’t want to just repeat the punk-leaning take on power pop you often hear,” says guitarist Matt Ragazzi. “For us, power pop is more of an element than a strict genre — we revere the classics of course, but we’re equally fascinated by those acts that were ‘power pop by chance’ rather than by design. Our songs look back to the melodic roots and add our own twists, making it feel both classic and new — and always about a good hook and a good time.”
